Since forming in 2009, the duo have developed a sound shaped by curiosity rather than convention, always open, always shifting and never confined by expectation.

Their music reflects an experimental yet grounded approach to electronic club culture. Emotional, functional and deeply immersive, their productions are guided by feeling over formula. Frankey & Sandrino have released on influential labels such as Innervisions, Mule Musiq, Kompakt, Diynamic, Rekids and their own Sum Over Histories, each release representing a distinct moment rather than a repetition of past success.

Frankey’s background as a multi-instrumentalist and composer merges naturally with Sandrino’s instinctive, wide-ranging musical perspective and deep connection to the dancefloor. As DJs, Frankey & Sandrino are known for extended, narrative driven sets that unfold patiently and with intent. Touring extensively across Europe, North America and South America, they have played key spaces including Stereo Montreal, fabric London, D-Edge São Paulo and Watergate Berlin. Their all night performances allow the duo to explore depth, subtlety and release, building a shared experience that goes far beyond peak time moments.

Their label Sum Over Histories, founded in 2016, remains an integral part of their creative ecosystem.
